Miss Nepal 2010 in August this Year!

The Hidden Treasures Miss Nepal 2010 is going to be held in August this year. The application forum have been out in the official website of Miss Nepal. And the application must be sumbited before June 4, 2010. There are few girls I know that are hoping to join for this year's Miss Nepal 2010, Some of them are:

Shristi Shrestha from London, United Kingdom who stands 5 ft 9 inches tall. She is a professional model and has been modelling in United Kingdom since 2007. She has been the face of Asian Wedding Online, she has got her own spread at AsianaWomens Magazine. She has been studying for her nursing course in her college.

Prabal Gurung is a rising American Fashion Desginer and he debuted his first ever runway show in New Yorks Fashion Week last Febraury 2010. He opened his fashion show with a white bold white cashmere coming, black going. His final dress was a red strapless evening gown with black sculptural black ruffles below the waist. Miss Nepal 2009 Winner Zenisha Moktan was featured on the Cover of Nepali Monthly Magazine VOW. She says "As long as I can remeber I wanted to be a Miss Nepal." She shares her story to the magazine and she also shares that Miss Nepal is not the first beauty pageant she had participate it, in her past in 2005, she had won the title of Miss Tamang 2005

and in 2006 she was a contestant in Miss Teen Nepal 2006 where she was unplaced but she didn't gave up and tried for Miss Nepal 2008 contest which was cancelled after the female maoists party protest againsts Miss Nepal pageant. But later in 2009, the pageant was held and she participate again to get the crown on Miss Nepal 2009. Zenisha Moktan didn't only got the title of Miss Nepal 2009 but also bagged the title of Blame Miss Best Walk. On December 2009, Zenisha Moktan Competed on Miss World 2009 beauty pageant where she represented Nepal but unfortunately the Nepali beauty was unplaced. After she came back from Miss World pageant in her home country she did some projects and she is an ambassador of WWF (World Wild Life) Nepal.

I am very curious to know that if Nepal is capable of having an International Magazine. As many nepalese people know that Nepal is not a rich country and many people in Nepal don't read the magazines alot but do you think people in Nepal will change the way they think after they have read the magazine? or they will still not read magazines?
